17.4 precipitated hardened stainless steel slimline M7 screw on tahitian spear head with single flopper. Strong but thin 5mm diameter chamfoured body, allowing the flopper to sit closer and more streamlined for greater penetration. Extra long means the added length between point and flopper and long flopper provides an advantage over the shorter floppered spear heads. The chances of levering this out of soft fleshed fished is much less. Ideal for open water pelagic fish, amongst others. Team it with a threaded shaft for a perfect pelagic or large reef fish shaft. Adds 160mm to the length of threaded shafts. Convert your threaded shaft to a single flopper shaft. 17.4PH means it is stronger where there is a greater risk of hitting rocks when bottom fishing.
