The Scorpena Roller is a super powerful and long-range speargun from SCORPENA. Through the use of the roller muzzle the rubber is located on both sides of the speargun, increasing the effective loading length. This enables an increase in the power, smoothness and accuracy of the the shot, without increasing the length of the barrel.

Railed barrel is aluminium tube with a cuttlefish shaped buoyant polyurethane formed around it. This offers a number of benefits - excellent maneuverability, silent discharge of spear, no noise from barrel when contacted with bottom whilst hunting, added buoyancy to carry larger spears and provide better trim and balance and a spongey yet durable surface that is highly resistant to damage.

Comes with universal style dovetail reel mount with line-wrap fingers to conveniently position shooting line out of the road of other lines and rubbers. Sitting in front of the reel mount are 3 variable stainless steel loading hooks for adjusting power levels.

The roller head is particularly sturdy and uses simple bushed pulleys, requiring minimum maintenance. These pulleys can take up to 19mm diameter rubber. The head has the option of left or right hand line wrap with useful guides on the side to run your line down the mid-section of the barrel, rather than underneath. This minimises conflict with rubbers, reel line and tensioning lines. Also has a stainless steel pin incorporated into the reel line guide that doubles as an anchor point for a muzzle bungee.

The speargun has 2 rubbers of black coated amber latex with a diameter of 17.5 mm. The black layer provides protection from UV rays and minor mechanical damage.

Comes with a spear shaft 6.5 mm diameter in high-corrosion-resistant steel 17-4 PH with 3 mini-shark fins - rest tab and two loading tabs. Spear has a hardened penetration cone, double rock point tip and a 75mm flopper.

The handle mechanism is a full stainless steel cassette style reverse mechanism, with stainless steel trigger and line relaease. Features a top-mounted ambidextrous safety either side of the trigger cassette and integrated extended loading butt. Ergonomic right hand grip handle, with extra left hand grip included - both with comfortable thumb rests. Stainless steel attaching point at the handle base for your floatline. In addition, this model has set trigger sensitivity control - idle position can be adjusted over a wide range.

• 75cm - has actual loading length 82cm
• 95cm - has actual loading length 100cm
• 105cm - has actual loading length 110cm

NOTE: Roller head muzzles contain rotating bushes &/or bearings that require regular maintenance. Ensure after every use, regular freshwater washing takes place to remove any debris or saltwater. Avoid contact with dirt or sand as this will quickly degrade bearing surfaces. Bushes and bearings are consumable items that may need to be replaced, depending on conditions of use, load and correct maintenance.
